Our Story

About Our Organisation

Africa Action for Fundamental Change and Development is a non-profit organization which was founded and registered in August 2023. It was founded by 5 Academicians who are working in different educational institutions from the primary level to tertiary level. Through their working experiences, they have come across different challenges facing the children from the primary level, being abuse, poverty, malnutrition which in general affect their academic performance and their well-being in general.

The youth whether in secondary school or tertiary level, are also faced by a number of challenges like lack of opportunities to express their potentials being in academics or extra – curricular. Most schools whether private or public owned, do not have career guidance officers, who could have helped to directs the students into right career choices depending on their abilities and passion. At the tertiary level, most graduates, leave college with no enough soft skills which could be vital in their job hunting in the labor market. In the end the graduates do not possess the necessary skills needed in the labor market.

We work directly with the communities, partners and youth and children’s rights organization to change the system perpetuating discrimination and limit children and youth to reach their full potentials. Together we seek to influence those in power and the communities to ensure that children are protected all the way to maturity and as the youth will be provided with enough support and opportunity and have a say in the critical decisions that affect them, so as to provide an opportunity for them to reach their full potential.
